Team members *must* be able to pass random drug testing administered regularly. General Job Description: Our technicians work in teams and report to the Director of Field Operations. The job is primarily is an on-demand position subject to mandatory shift work, call outs and overtime. Work will requiring travel. (driving company vehicle as a crew, chartered flights, or both depending on client needs). Responsibilities: > Work safely at all times and adopt company core values around safe work behavior > Learn, observe, and adhere to safe work practices > Learn and follow company policies and procedures > Install flanged and screwed piping and associated valves > Install and remove blinds > Climb, bend, lift and perform a wide range of physical activities > Work at various heights high and low > Ability to listen and follow job specific instructions > Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with team members, leaders and operations personnel > Comfortable using and wearing a variety of safety and personal protective equipment including a complete proximity suit. > Available for Overtime, shift work, and weekend work as needed > Work out of craft and with other crafts as needs dictate > Pass all qualification tests, both written and practical, as administered by our company training. Required Qualifications: > Must be at least 18 years of age. > Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions. Valid passport a plus. > High school diploma or GED > Valid driver's license > Ability to work on job sites inside oil refineries and power generation plants; enter and work in confined spaces; climb ladders, scaffolding and towers; wear Personal Protective Equipment including fall and respiratory protection > Lift and transport up to 75 pounds > Ability to Climb and make repairs from various heights and in confined space/IDLH areas. > All applicants must be able to wear our suit and perform work under supplied air. > Team player with a great attitude. Current and valid TWIC card preferred. Preferred Qualifications: > Experience in an Oil Refinery or PetroChemical plant environment > Experience in Oil Refinery and/or PetroChemical maintenance Conditions of employment will include: >Background check > Passing machinists and/or craft skills assessment tests. > Working outside in all weather conditions. MUST BE A U.S CITIZEN AND SPEAK ENGLISH. MUST NOT HAVE ANY DRUG CHARGES, DUI/DWI OR FELONIES. MUST HAVE OR MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE U.S PASSPORT. We mobilize anywhere in the lower 48 states, Canada and US Virgin Islands and others depending on client. Using our technicians, proprietary proximity suits, cooling systems, and PPE we perform normal work scopes in IDLH environments, confined space and high heat areas.
