SALEM, MA — The joint climate initiative in Beverly and Salem will have a seat at the table at Salem State University on Wednesday during an online panel discussion about the climate change challenges facing the two coastal cities. The webinar, which is Wednesday from 4:40 to 5:30 p.m., will feature Barbara Warren, of Salem Sound Coastwatch, Beverly City Councilor Estelle Rand and Esmeralda Bisono of Salem's Sustainability Office. The event will also highlight the Resilient Together partnership between Beverly and Salem. The webinar is designed to "connect the global climate change to the local North Shore experience and inspire the audience to get involved locally." Salem State student Joey Wolongevicz will moderate the discussion, which will conclude with a "call to action" Salem teacher Carly Mandell.
