Have you been diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a paid research study with the University of Rochester on the social brain. What’s the study? We are researchers at the University of Rochester investigating how the brain processes social information. Who is eligible? Individuals ages 18-65 who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, are fluent in English, and are on stable medication. What’s involved? There are 3 parts to the study: 1. Clinical interviews and computer-based assessments of cognition ($10/hour; 2-4 hour Zoom session) 2. Online survey with questionnaires about personality, attitudes, and life experiences ($5; 20-30 minutes, from home) 3.
