Looking to add drums and guitar to band. Committed and dependable people, with the open mind necessary for a group of diverse musicians to build on. We all have different styles and tastes and need someone who is knowledgeable on their instrument. Comfortable on the fretboard and the throne. Bass player is interested in a guitarist that we can work with that is able to build texture in our songs. This is a female fronted band, and we do get together every week on Tuesday nights. Our influences and inspirations are varied and different, and together create a schmorgesborg of eclectic styles that we like to experiment with. We’re are open to covers as well as creating and writing. Singer is the main writer of lyrics, and is welcome to the idea of collaboration. Our influences include: Tool, NIN, Puscifer, garbage, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Evanescence, Aurora, Billie Eilish, deftones, Cocteau twins, Bowie’s heroes, Sylvan Esso, Bjork, Jewel, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Beth Hart, Stranglers, Dead Can Dance, Die Antwoord, Gary Neuman, PJ Harvey, Peter Gabriel and Radiohead. In a guitarist, we are looking for an experienced guitar player to come with us on our musical journey. We write, arrange, and perform covers and originals that incorporate blues, rock, soul, and electonica. Our music features analog bass synths, live vocal sampling, and hard kicking beats. We are looking for a creative guitarist with good gear who can add luscious pads, funky stabs, and dynamic lead lines to our music. We are not looking for classic rock, jam band, or trad blues. But knowing scales will benefit this project and is what we are looking for in a guitarist. In a drummer, we are looking for a solid kick and great hi-hat work. Able to play and keep steady rhythms and beats, and play a variety of styles comfortably. Someone who likes the challenge of different timings and structures of songs. Also someone who can adjust the levels or volume of their playing accordingly. A controlled drummer is ideal! Some of our songs are soft and ballad like, others are really bouncy and energetic! The drummer we are looking for can adapt to all styles we will play.
