Concealed Handgun Class In the NC Concealed Carry Handgun Class, students will receive a training and certificate required to apply for a concealed carry permit at their local Sheriffs office. Course instructional topics include: Legal issues, Handgun safety, Handguns nomenclature, Marksmanship fundamentals, Concealed Handgun Safety, Presentation techniques, Cleaning and maintenance, Ammunition, Proficiency drills. Class check-in is at 8:30am. Class will start promptly at 9:00am and run until 6:00pm. There will be multiple breaks given through out the day and lunch will be around 1pm. Handgun qualification we be available on Thursday Friday & Saturday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm: please contact the range to schedule qualification. Course Required Equipment includes reliable Self-Defense type handgun and 50 rounds of factory ammunition. Must be in the original factory box or carton. (No reloads) Prohibited Handguns: Derringers , Single action revolvers , .22 & .25 caliber handguns. Guns manufactured by the following: Jennings, Jimenez, Lorcin, Phoenix Arms, Raven Arms, Bryco, David Arms, Cobra, or any other firearm declared to be unsafe. Course of fire for qualification: All students will be required to shoot a 70% or better on a standard B-27 target at 3, 5 & 7 yards. NOTE: REGISTRATION AND COURSE FEES ARE REQUIRED IN ADVANCE.AT THE DAY OF THE CLASS, PLEASE ARRIVE AT 8:30 AM FOR CLASS CHECK IN.IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND PLEASE CONTACT THE RANGE TO RESCHEDULE.
