A qualified employee is needed to perform custodial services 3 days week for 3 hours (total of 9 hours a week); Monday (1:30pm-4:30pm), Wednesday (10:00am-1:00pm) and Friday (1:30pm-4:30pm) at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center. Applicants with previous janitorial experience are preferred for this position. Applicant must be able to perform quality services under intense supervision. Job Qualifications: • High School or GED graduate minimum • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Must be able to speak and read English • Must have a valid Driver’s License, registration and insurance • A vehicle is preferred for infrequent travel • Must be able to pass a background check and have no criminal history • Preferred Experience: 3-5 Years • Floor Stripping/Waxing and Carpet Cleaning experience is a significant plus • Access to a computer and email is preferred • Must be able to lift 50 pounds Compensation and Benefits: • $27.00 per hour • 10 days’ vacation after 1 year For immediate consideration, please send your resume or description of your work history with contact information.
