The scam posting I'm referring to has been removed, but they were advertising for adoption of 2 Cavapoo puppies.
They sent me a video of each puppy. One of them had the puppy running in thick, luscious green grass. The puppies are only 12 weeks old. After many back and forth emails, they admitted to being in Minnesota. They blamed it on being new to Craigslist and posting in the wrong location. But, neither Hartford nor Minnesota have had green grass as far back as 12 weeks up to now.
Either pumping for personal information to sell or trying to get you to pay for pet transportation between the two locations. Or just going to rip off your rehoming fee. I also had someone who claimed to have just moved to LA and to have the pet transported for a fee.
