This position is responsible for the successful day-to-day assisting in preparing units for leasing and move-in. The Make Ready Technician provides necessary repairs for all aspects of the units and is responsible for bringing units up to REEP’s market ready standard. Primary Responsibilities Necessary Skills I. Personnel Follow and maintain the preventative maintenance programs established within the company. Review daily make ready schedule with the Maintenance Technician Supervisor at the beginning of each day. Support Maintenance Technician Supervisor with day to day employee and operational needs. II. Maintenance Inspect vacated apartments and inform the Maintenance Technician Supervisor and Property Manager by completing a Make-Ready Checklist of needed services and repairs. Prepare apartments from start to completion to REEP Make Ready Standards by utilizing skills that include repairs or replacement of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, paint and sheetrock. Occasionally, perform routine maintenance tasks, minor maintenance requests, routine preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed to all common areas and units. Share on-call responsibility with the Maintenance Technician Supervisor and respond to resident service requests within same day. Other duties as assigned. III. Administrative Responsible for the supply and upkeep of all property-issued tools. IV. DRIVING/TRAVELING REQUIREMENTS · 15% to 20% of the time needed to utilize personal transportation on property, visit other communities, for on-call related activities, pick up emergency supplies, and attend training related courses. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Must have and maintain access to street legal, reliable transportation. Qualifications Minimum 1 years’ experience Verifiable experience in painting, minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs required
