Mow Technicians Responsibilities: • Prep Trucks & equipment, follow inventory procedures. • Openly receive training for field needs, safety, equipment, technique, etc. • Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation. • Proper use of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment. • Address questions or concerns with the clients by forwarding them onto the manager. • Complete all job site reports and report all sales opportunities • Prepare for the next day’s jobs every evening, fill out time sheets daily • Wash dirty equipment {including all mower decks} and return to storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to mowing mechanic. • Fill trucks, mowers, equipment, and cans with fuel additive & fuel in preparation for the next day (or as necessary) • Strict adherence to the company's employee manual & procedures Requirements: • Mowing experience is preferred • Must be 18+ years old • Valid driver’s license • Reliable transportation Qualifications: • Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels • Highly motivated quick learner • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. consistently throughout the day. • High attention to detail • Available to work in all adverse weather conditions. • Stoop, stand and bend for 10+ hours a day. Landscape Assistant Duties: • Perform grounds keeping and other duties as assigned • Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower • Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls • Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees • Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth • Winter season: shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice down to keep people from falling or operate a snowplow • Sweep walkway of debris • Trim shrubs and pull weeds • Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping. • Operate stump grinder machinery and operate company trucks • Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed • Install rock and bark • Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must have 2 years of Commercial Landscaping experience • Must have a valid WA Driver License • Must be reliable and have good history of attendance Irrigation Technician Duties: o Repair irrigation system defects o Assist superintendent in maintaining parts inventory o Make all irrigation orders with approval. o Perform preventative maintenance and curative maintenance on pump stations o Operate main pumps and pump controllers o Maintain daily record of activities and expenses o Check irrigation systems for leaks, lakes and dry areas o Inventory irrigation parts and supplies o Operate and maintain light utility vehicles and powered equipment o Record changes in irrigation system component routings or locations on the working copy of the system as-built drawings o Follow Company Procedures are being followed in the field o Completing daily paperwork (timesheets, DOT sheets) o Completing startup sprinklers in the spring o Completing blow out sprinkler maintenance in the fall o Reviewing “day before call ahead” and next day schedule Requirements: o Knowledge of repairing valves, operating controllers and troubleshooting irrigation systems o 2 Years Irrigation Experience preferred o Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment Drug Screen o Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record. o Ability to kneel, stand and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. daily. o Excellent customer service skills
