Frosty Tips Reopening In Shorewood After Being Closed In 2020

SHOREWOOD, IL — There is good news to report for people who like ice cream in the Shorewood area. After staying closed all of 2020 amid the dangerous coronavirus pandemic, Shorewood's Frosty Tips ice cream stand at 700 West Jefferson St. will reopen this year. The business posted a short announcement on its Facebook page March 1 declaring, "Frosty Tips opens in 30 days." The last time Frosty Tips posted any announcement on social media came last May when it announced that, "we have made the very difficult decision to remain closed for the season until May 2021. As this was not an easy decision we felt it was the right one. Our employees safety as well as our customers has always been a priority for us."
