Established 11 piece dance band seeks Female Vocalist

Boogie Boulevard is an established 11 piece band with a 4 piece horn section. This band is full of easy going fun people, ages 21 to 60 something and everything in between. We are experienced musicians having played countless times with various groups. Some members have even toured with major recording artists. Our cornerstone is '70's disco/funk/dance music. Of course other genres and more contemporary songs are peppered in to make us more marketable for corporate parties and weddings, which is our focus. Currently we are: Bass, Drums, Percussion, Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, Trombone, 1st Trumpet, Guitar, Keys, and Spence Hood on Male Lead Vocal. We are looking for a fun engaging female vocalist with solid tone and the commitment to learn the songs like the original hit recordings. You must be able to harmonize. You must be willing to come to every rehearsal so we can function better as a team on stage! You must have reliable transportation. No addictions or egos please. You must be a quick learner - there are currently 46 songs in our repertoire (about half are female led). We cover songs from Donna Summer, The B-52’s, Dianna Ross, Thelma Houston, Amy Winehouse, Adele, and others. We also have a lighting system. This band is ready for any gig! We currently rehearse in North Renton every other Sunday evening, 3 blocks from the I-405/SR-169 interchange. When the pandemic is over we will go back to rehearsing or performing once per week. To keep safe during this pandemic, we mask up and have 10 isolated booths in 2 separate buildings. Heck, you can even rehearse from your car with a wireless mic and wireless headphone monitoring if you like.
