Celebrate the album release of genre-bending folk-rock group Red Oak Ruse at Prairie Street Live. ***Red Oak Ruse plays their first live show since releasing their brand new 12 song LP "Proletariat," and boy are they excited! Don't miss this intensely energetic show in Fayetteville, AR.*** ***DOORS 5pm*** The culmination of all that came before, the music that Red Oak Ruse creates is meant to be something that represents all kinds of musical experiences, their love for music, thier experience with their instruments, and most importantly something with which they could lift their kilts towards the music industry at large. It is time for the conjoining of the currently on-fire yet suspiciously vague genre of “Americana” with a much less known and, though also vague, niche and traditional genre of “Ozark music.” There is no better time to do it than now, there is no better place to do it than Eureka Springs, and these are the right four gentlemen to meld it all together. So are these guys dead serious musical monsters or is this pseudo-brilliant trickery? Is this - the music of a four-man group of men represented by trees common to the Ozark Mountains - some kind of trick? And thusly an Ozark ruse? Amongst these perplexing uncertainties, the one thing we can uncompromisingly know is that Red Oak Ruse is Ozarkana, and the best way to experience Ozarkana is obviously in person. So come decide for yourself what the truth and meaning of it all is live and in person with Red Oak Ruse. We're excited to continue live music in a safe environment until the time comes when we can do away with all the precautions. For now, this is a socially distanced concert, and masks are required when not eating or drinking. Spaces are sold as 1-3 person or 4-6 person spaces.
