Hello, My name is Brandon and I am a professional trumpet player living on the East side of Madison, WI. I am looking for performance opportunities with serious groups/ensembles. I am a flexible musician who has experience in Classical and Jazz music as ensembles, quintets, and soloist. I am seeking chances to perform and compose Jazz, Improvised music, and Experimental music of all varieties. As a person I am easy to work with because I get along well with others, am open-minded to new ideas, and am friendly. I have left a resume below. I hope to hear from you soon! -Brandon Education: Bachelor of Arts in Music Education University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 2019 I have experience performing as 2nd, 3rd, and 4th trumpet in the Jazz I and II ensemble. I have experience as second, third, and fourth chair in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the top wind ensemble on campus. I have experience playing 2nd and 3rd chair in the Orchestra. I performed and wrote original compositions for the Improviser's Orchestra. My piece was performed at the Arts and Literature Lab with that ensemble. Experience as Performer: Brass Knuckles Brass Quintet (2020-current) I play as a 2nd chair sub for the duration of the pandemic. We perform Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Rock traditional music, arrangements, and original works. We rehearse weekly and perform 10+ gigs a year. Madison Brass Band (2018 - current, on hold due to pandemic) I play 1st cornet, front row, 4th chair. We play a variety of music arranged for brass ensemble, including Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Rock. We rehearse weekly and perform 10+ gigs a year. UW-Whitewater Jazz Bands (2014-2018) UW-Whitewater Symphonic Wind Ensemble (2015-2018) UW-Whitewater Trumpet Studio (2014-2019) 8 solo trumpet performances total.
