ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Seven stolen catalytic converters were recovered as Alameda County Sheriff's deputies arrested two people in unincorporated Ashland Friday.
They also seized four guns, including an assault pistol.
The case began when patrol deputies spotted two people unloading a stolen car in the driveway of a residence. "They were both arrested and one of them, a convicted felon, was in possession of methamphetamine and ammunition," the sheriff's office said on social media.
After getting a search warrant for the home, the weapons and catalytic converters were found.
