Assuming shows will be a thing again, CIRCLE OF SIGHS will need the services of an able-bodied/able-minded hit-things-with-sticks person. We're on a label (local indie metal label, don't get too excited) with a record coming out in June. Lots of shows plus touring to commence once such things are feasible.  We need someone who can play fast AND slow. Double-bass a must. Occasional blast beats. Occasional really effed-up time changes. More King Crimson than Animals as Leaders though. Like we're talking 80s Crimson. Simmons pads and weirdo synth guitar era Crimson. So if you have some v-drums/triggers/Abelton Live stuff you can integrate that would be great.   Influences: Yob, Neurosis, Godflesh, Devin Townsend, Kraftwerk, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Igorrr, Gary Numan, NIN, Thomas Dolby, Material, Japan, King Crimson. Also, King Crimson.  This should go without saying but you need to own a drum kit. No seriously, this is something we need to specify. We are LGBT+ friendly, gender (or lack thereof) friendly, and just in general friendly. But no QAnon or MAGA hat weirdos, sorry we'd rather use a drum machine than have to listen to that shit. This is a gig for serious musicians who've done this shit before and realize how thankless and non-lucrative playing metal usually is.  Oh and we have a REALLY nice lockout in Van Nuys. It's not huge but it's aesthetically pleasing and smells nice thanks to our wonderful lockout roomies. No you can't live there.
