Press release from the City of Berkeley: March 08, 2021 Press Contact: Byron White, Berkeley Police Department, (510) 981-5780 Berkeley, California (Monday, March 08, 2021) - The City of Berkeley is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of all responsible suspects in the murder of Tobias Eagle. Today marks the tenth anniversary of the murder of Tobias "Toby" Eagle. On the afternoon of March 8th 2011, Tobias "Toby" Eagle was found unresponsive in a backyard in the Blake Street/McGee Avenue neighborhood—shot to death by unknown suspect(s). Detectives believe there are individuals with information about this case and are asking for their help. Even the smallest detail could be critical in solving this crime. BPD is urging anyone with information to call the BPD Homicide Unit at (510) 981-5741 or BPD's 24-hour Non-Emergency number at (510) 981-5900. Any information may be critical to solving this crime.
