Description

Tenebrae is an extended meditation on Christ's suffering and death. The most striking feature of the service is the gradual extinguishing of candles and other lights in the church, symbolizing the scattering of the disciples and other followers of Jesus during his Passion, until only a single candle, a symbol of our Lord, remains.  This and all services at St. Paul's continue with current Covid precautions, including participants being masked and maintaining distance.
