We are looking for Skilled and Experienced Paving crew members, and as always are willing to train the right person. We are looking to fill the following positions: Paving Foreman: Someone with knowledge of ground work, paving, rolling and dealing with efficiently coordinating crews and materials. This person is responsible for the crew, the job and communicating with homeowners in a professional and courteous manner. This person will coordinate the crew members in a way that sees the job completed on schedule and under budget. It will require measuring the job and coordinating with the truck drivers and pavement plants to make sure the job is completed in an efficient way. When we leave the job site, It is the paving foremen who makes sure the home owner is happy and satisfied with their new driveway. Paver Operators: We operate two 8500 Leboy pavers and have the need to run them 7 days a week. This person will have knowledge of paving and experience operating a paver. We do both residential and commercial property and as such have the need for a paver operator who is both conscientious of the quality of his work for a discerning home owner and is able to efficiently use the machine in a way that provides the best finished product we can. Roller Operator: You are the last line of a paving crew, and as such you are responsible for a smooth, clean and well compacted mat. We are looking for someone with experience knock down and finish rolling both driveways and large commercial properties. Experienced and inexperience rakers and laborers: The back bone of any paving crew is its ability to seamlessly blend handwork and paving seams into a driveway or parking lot. We are looking for experienced rakers and are happy to train for general labor positions. Class A/B truck drivers: We are looking for experienced dump truck and tractor trailer drivers to help deliver materials from the pavement plant to the job site in both dump trucks and flow-boy trailers. Pay is commensurate to experience, so please don't hesitate to call and speak with me between 8am-5pm. We often work many hours so overtime should be expected. Weekend work is standard however Sundays are optional. We also do a large amount of seal coating and crack filling so there is never a shortage of work.
