Join us for a hike/walk led by the local chapter of Trail Sisters! Trail Sisters GR hosts guided no-drop, womxn only group runs in GR. You're invited to join us on Saturday March 27 for a hike/run hybrid event designed to empower you to get outside while building community! Does the sound of a trail run make you nervous? Are you an avid runner looking for a group of like minded womxn to connect with? Have you never ran before but curious what the hype is about? (🙋‍♀️- Shoosh, Community Manager here confessing I fall under this category!). Do you just want to get outside?! This event is for you! Details: We will meet at Provin Trails. There will be 2 options for the trail- a hike designed for walkers, and a run designed for runners. The group hike/run will be guided by Trail Sisters GR with no-drops so we will stay in a group. All experience levels are welcome! Tickets: Each ticket is $5 and includes a drink ticket for use at Outside Coffee Co + an entry to a raffle for some sweet prizes! 100% of profits from tickets will go to the Greater Grand Rapids Women's History Council in honor of Women's History Month.Parking: There is a parking lot at the entrance of the park. Provin Trails are located off 4 Mile Rd between Dean Lake Ave and the East Beltline.What To Wear/Bring: Comfortable shoes and layers will be your best bet! Bring a water bottle if you wish.
