While driving eastbound on SLAUSON at 3am I saw what looked to be a terrier brown possible missing fur with a Pink collar that has a wide reflecting tape in the middle which is why I could see the dog. I tried to get her and as I was making a little progress of her coming closer she stepped sideways into slauson and a car hit her on the hip then another car amidst hit her again. She must have a hip bruise or injury but she was so sacred she took off further EAST on slauson. We were near GREEN DOG & CAT hospital. I tried to catch up with her but she realized I was following and kept evading the sound of my car coming closer. Then I lost sight of her. She ran thru the parking lot of the EL SUPER grocery store. I was amazed she could run having been hit. I felt so badly for her she seemed terrified and thin and so lost. The reflective collar saved her from me hitting her. I hope someone can Catch her. If you lost a terrier med size dog in that area with that distinctive collar she may still be alive going in circles.
