A fun and fit way for men and women to lend a helping hand to one of the major disparities facing women around the world via a charity ride! UIU DMV Presents: Idi n'otu: RIDE FOR CHANGE Fitness Fun Day As March is Women's History Month, we continuing to shift our focus towards serving the women in our community. This program is a fun and fit way for men and women to lend a helping hand to one of the major disparities facing women around the world in a charity ride to benefit the women and children of the District Alliance of Safe Housing (DASH DC), which is the largest provider of safe housing for survivors of domestic abuse in the District of Columbia. The day will include a morning of fitness fun! From the initial rhythm ride, attendees will bounce from yoga, to boxing, to strength training for thirty minutes per session. In addition, during the designated sanitation breaks, and free time participants can enjoy the tables of snacks, juices, water and more, for a COVID friendly day of fun and giving in light of women. All attendees are encouraged to bring their donations of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and towel sets. Please, arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of each class. SPACING WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CDC GUIDELINES - AND HELD 50% OUTDOORS. PLEASE, DRESS ACCORDINGLY!
