Although my recordings are decidedly not-americana (just wanted to be able to provide a sample with a big range, and one of me singing and playing), I do think after toying with the idea of different genres, that Americana-esque music is the genre I would like to pursue with other musicians at this time. Me- not experienced on any front. I'm looking to do lead or share lead vocals, playing with a more experienced guitarist or in a band. Although I'm not experienced, I am looking for others who are committed to gathering and practicing 1-2 times a week, and eventually playing out at open mics or shows. I have been playing guitar for a couple years and could provide some basic rhythm support, but I'm not skilled enough to be the only guitarist. So if you want to play the same type of music- maybe you're band-inexperienced like me but have goals to get playing out, or maybe you're more experienced but don't mind taking on a newbie, please send an email or text.
