Everyone, meet my boy Blue. I adopted him at 8 weeks old and he’s grown to be such a fun, energetic pup. He is now 11 months old, weighs 45-50 lbs, is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all shots and medicines. He loves to follow me around in the apartment, lay at my feet or with me on the couch. He LOVES playing with his toys and tries his best to eat them as well! 😆. He loves to explore when we go on walks (still working on not tugging on the leash) and is very well behaved with other dogs at the dog park! He is always so excited to meet new people! I’m writing this post because after months of struggling to make the best decision for his happiness, I have decided that he deserves to find a new home that can give him a better quality of life. Due to changes in my work schedule, he is kept in a kennel in my apartment for far too many hours a day for the amount of energy he has. Combined with the fact he also has to be kenneled through the night, the hours in between are just not enough for him to get all his wiggles out. I would love to find someone generally outdoorsy and active or with a big yard and other friendly dogs to play with. He has not had a ton of experience with children, but in his excitement I would worry he would knock small kids down. He needs someone with enough spare time and patience that can train him beyond the basic “sit/stay/break” commands he’s already mastered. He is truly too smart for his own good! Special consideration for those willing to document his adventures via Instagram for me to keep up with! I am asking for a rehoming fee of $250 which will include his large kennel, toys, leash, multiple collars, and some kibble. Please DM me and we can set up a meet and greet!
