Driver In Fatal Belmont Box Truck Crash Identified

BELMONT, MA — The truck driver who died in a rollover crash in Belmont on Friday was identified by the Middlesex District Attorney's office as Fabustino Soto, 44 of Hadley. Soto worked for Chang Farms in Whatley and was driving a 25-foot box truck delivering fresh produce. Soto lost control of the truck and rolled over on the driver's side and landed on a snowbank on Common Street, according to the DA's office. Soto was pronounced dead at the scene by EMTs. The crash is still under investigation.
