Sponsorship Opportunities The future of robotics in the State of Tennessee is exciting! Student interest in robotics has grown exponentially in the State. VRC (Vex Robotics Competition) started in Tennessee in 2009-2010 with only one high school team and no events. As of 2020, we grew to have 280 registered high school and middle school VRC teams, showing double- and triple-digit percentage growth each season. Vex IQ, which is comprised of students in elementary through middle school, started in Tennessee in 2014-2015 with one team. In 2020, 239 Vex IQ teams, were registered across the State. In only its 11th year, Tennessee has quickly become the second fastest growth state for competition robotics in the country. We are excited that the 2021 VEX TN State Robotics Tournament will be held on the Brentwood Academy campus on April 16-17. The vision for expanding the championship includes moving to a larger venue like Gaylord Opryland next year or two. In order to achieve this goal, BA is offering sponsorship opportunities for the first time at both a Corporate level ($1,000-$15,000) and a Local level ($100-$750) plus opportunities for companies to provide swag bag donations.
