Seeking housekeeping Staff for the Inn at Castle Hill on the beautiful Crane Estate in Ipswich! She/he is primarily responsible for the upkeep of a 10-room inn operating between April and February, and its cleanliness, laundry duties of bed linens and towels, and monitoring of guestroom and housekeeping supplies. The Housekeeper will follow all of our COVID 19 protocols to ensure the utmost confidence of Inn guests and will use products and techniques implemented by the Innkeepers that follow all CDC guidelines. You can review our COVID 19 protocols on our website here: The ideal candidate will be flexible and be able to commit to 10 to 30 hours per week including weekends and holidays. In This Role You Will: Clean bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms including washing and applying linens Vacuuming individual guest rooms and public areas of the inn Laundering bed linens and towels Inventorying cleaning and guest supplies Maintaining cleanliness of the inn’s dining and other service areas Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation Qualifications: Attention to cleanliness Positive customer interaction skills Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not necessary Other: Background check required Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays is required Access to reliable transportation is necessary Working Conditions: Ability to lift 40 pounds required. Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs (no elevator in the building) Compensation: This is a seasonal, non-exempt, hourly paid position, with an optimal start date in April 2021 (with some training in late March 2021).
