SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests: On March 1 at 4:04 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 58-year-old male, Henry Singleton of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff's Office with no bail, one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail and one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Singleton was further charged with Receiving Stolen property [2C:20-7A] and Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Singleton was also found to have one outstanding warrant with no bail issued by the Secaucus Police Department for a Burglary and Theft involving a car chassis at 501 Penhorn Avenue that was reported to the Secaucus Police on 02/24/2020. The charges for this outstanding warrant consisted of Burglary [2C:18-2A(1) and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Additionally, Mr. Singleton was charged with Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A] for a Burglary and Theft to a trailer that occurred at 550 Meadowlands Parkway on 03/01/2021. Lastly, Mr. Singleton was charged with Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Criminal Attempt of Theft [2C:5-2A(1)] for a burglary to a trailer that occurred at 20 Enterprise Avenue on 10/25/2020. Mr. Singleton was issued his complaint warrants along with five motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On March 3 at 3:24 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 45-year-old male, Francisco Aguilar of Belleville, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Aguilar was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On March 4 at 2:51 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Bureau in regards to an incident of an Unlawful Use of a Credit Card and Identity Theft that was reported to the Secaucus Police Department on 02/16/2021, the Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old male, Kendel Frazier of Secaucus, NJ at Secaucus Police Headquarters for the charges of Credit Card Theft [21-6C(1)], 2 counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H] and 2 counts of Identity Theft [2C:21-17A(1)]. Mr. Frazier was issued a copy of his complaint summons and he was released from police custody. On March 5 at 9:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Jeffry Valdez-Yanes of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Psilocybin Mushrooms [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Valdez-Yanes was issued his complaint summons along with three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On March 6 at 2:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20-year-old male, John Oliveira of Warren, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Oliveira was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated, was issued an additional four motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On March 7 at 8:58 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 19-year-old male, Jibreel Patterson of Newark, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Cranford, NJ in the amount of $250. Mr. Patterson was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody. On March 7 at 12:20 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 110A Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a burglary into a motor vehicle. Upon arrival of police, the reporting party advised the suspect had entered a building on the premises that was not at the time open to the public. During the investigation, with the assistance of Secaucus Police K-9 Strobe, the police arrested a 38-year-old male, Mugurel-Lucian Petrescu of Wallington, NJ for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Petrescu was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Editor's note: All information on the new police K-9 on the Secaucus Police force will be publicly released after the dog completes Narcotics Detective School. The dog has already completed Patrol school, and his handler is Secaucus Police Officer Vince DeFazio. On March 7 at 4:22 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old male, Francis Arias of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $120. Arias was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
