Do you have fruit trees? Or are you looking to plant some this year? Now is the time to learn about how you can best maintain your trees! Join Growing Gardens in our online course where Colorado Gardeners can learn the basics of caring for their front-range fruit trees in winter, while they are dormant. This includes pruning lingo and techniques, watering needs, and dormant spraying for disease/pest prevention. We will also discuss the basics of selecting regionally appropriate trees, planting instructions, pests and diseases, and best orcharding practices for our region.
An optional Zoom Q& a call will be offered on Saturday, March 13th from 9:30 am-10:00 am with Instructor Lauren Kelso. This session will be recorded and uploaded for course registrants to view.
