Our client is a family owned business located in Mooresville, Indiana and has been in operation since 1920. They manufacture hardwood and softwood face veneer for our customers, according to their specifications and applications. They operate two shifts and work with eight different woods. JOB DESCRIPTION - The essential duty of the veneer off-bearer is to neatly stack the sheets of veneer as they come out of the machine. - Continuously counting sheets into bundles. - Reading and understanding work process tags. - Monitoring for product defects, and removing defective veneer from good quality veneer. REQUIREMENTS - Standing for the shift along with occasional medium effort pushing and lifting. - Repetitive motion with hand and arms throughout shift. - Safety toe work shoes. - Basic reading and writing skills. - Working and communicating effectively with coworkers. - Willingness to listen to supervisor. - Reliable attendance. - 18+ years old.
