Full Moon Sound Journey Meditation on the Rooftop at Desert Color Community Center Full Moon Sound Journey and Meditation at Desert Color. As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night.  Now known as the Worm Moon. It is believed that the name is symbolic of one of the many signs of spring; that is when the worms begin to emerge from the soil. As a sound journey duo we facilitate mindfulness, meditation, breathwork and sound journeys around the state of Utah.  We teach that everything is a vibration and you tune your body like you tune an instrument. Different instruments are set to certain frequencies and the sound healing allows your body to heal itself by slowing down your brain waves, which affect every cell in your body, shifting them from diseased to being in ease.  Sound Therapy Journeys with Ryan and Lisa, include handpans, drums, Native flutes, Crystal singing bowls, Chimes, Rainsticks and other calming instruments Using harmonies and sound therapy techniques, Ryan and Lisa will take you through a musical journey that can inspire healing, personal growth, release tension, and connection to self.
