Residents Can Dispose of Confidential Documents for free in an Environmentally Safe Manner
WHAT: In an effort to easily dispose of confidential documents in an environmentally safe manner, Waste Management and the City of Mission Viejo will be hosting a community shred event. These events will provide City of Mission Viejo residents with the opportunity to safely shred and dispose of confidential documents.
WHO: This event is open to City of Mission Viejo residents. Proof of residency required.
WHEN: March 27, 2021 from 9 to 11 a.m. or until truck capacity is reached.
WHERE: City Hall Parking Lot, 200 Civic Center, Mission Viejo
HOW: Residents can bring their documents to shred drop off location.
Document Shredding
Proof of residency is required. Disposal of up to 5 banker-size file boxes (24” wide x 12” high) is permitted. Please ensure all documents and boxes are free of binders, paper clips, plastic sleeves, and metal butterfly clips. Items not accepted include CD’s, credit cards, three-ring binders, wire dividers, newspapers, magazines, and spiral notebooks. For safety reasons, please remain in your vehicle until you are serviced. No walk-ups will be permitted.
