Position : MOBILE GROUNDSKEEPER About the Company Turn Maintenance & Construction was established in 2014 to provide maintenance and remodel services to multi-family properties in the central Austin area. The company is growing steadily because of the quality of service Turn provides to its clients. We look for people who work hard and enjoy a sense of teamwork. Those employees tend to stay a long time and enjoy working at the company. About the Job We are looking for someone to take over the responsibility given to our company to look after the properties of our clients. Most of these properties are apartment buildings in central Austin. They trust us to make the grounds look good, and report on any issues we see. The job is about 25 hours a week at the current time, but likely to increase to a full-time position. Job Description Character: • Self-starter with ability to work independently • Integrity, honesty and reliability • Respectful of staff and clients Requirements and Responsibilities: • Performs all tasks related to keeping apartment properties tidy, clean and regularly checked for issues. • Activities generally, but not limited to the following; Cutting grass, edging, blowing and bagging leaves, emptying dog waste bins, wiping down washing machines and walls, sweeping and mopping laundry room floors, emptying and sweeping trash, cleaning cobwebs/dirt from fixtures, mailboxes, wiping doors if necessary, checking gutters for blockages, checking light sensors All equipment is provided, including a truck. Company Operations: • Performs allocated tasks on schedule • Maintains reporting and activity log according to company procedures • Has a smartphone to use our time tracking app and take photos where necessary Other General Requirements: • Proof to work in the US • Current Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive a truck safely • Ability to read and interpret checklists and simple plans and comprehend instructions • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form • Ability to diagnose problems, collect information and establish facts English speaking a plus Background check will be undertaken before employment Please provide resume with 2 business references
