ELMHURST, IL — A man is accused of pushing another man off a bench in Elmhurst and later resisting officers, police said. Luis J. Flores, 30, of Berkeley, was arrested on charges of criminal damage to property, battery and resisting a police officer. He was released on bond. According to a police report, a man said he was sitting on the bench when Flores pushed him to the ground, damaged his bicycle and left the area. Flores was later found and placed under arrest. The incident happened about 2 p.m Friday in the 100 block of West First Street.
