Concrete Laborer/Carpenter/ Finisher Job Type Full-time Qualifications -Driver’s license (preferred) / CDL (preferred) -Construction experience (preferred) -Willing to show up every day, ready to work and learn -Able to travel when required Full Job Description We are looking for concrete Laborers, Carpenters and Finishers to join our growing company. The primary job for this position is to ensure that concrete jobs are set up and finished properly and in a safe manner. To be a great fit for this job position, an individual must be able to satisfactory perform each essential duty listed below and meet the following qualifications. Additional or different duties may be assigned occasionally at employer’s discretion. It is the responsibility of all W. Lorentz Construction employees to work together to complete all projects in a safe and quality manner. Duties -Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and removing forms after pouring -Grade fill and concrete efficiently and accurately -Assist in keeping a clean and safe construction site -Install and tie rebar -Inspect and maintain supplies and equipment -Lubricate and clean machinery, equipment and tools -Use a variety of hand tools such as concrete saws, skill saws, jackhammers, hammer drills, rebar tie guns, etc.… -Able to work in all weather conditions -Repetitive motions: kneeling, bending, lifting -Work well with other employees and be able to stay on task -Be able to show up on time for work every day is required -Set forms accurately and to print spec. -Assist in placement of concrete, pouring and finishing About us W.
