We are hiring for 4 positions at our growing and busy animal hospital. Experience is NOT NECESSARY for all the positions but you need to be compassionate and gentle with pets, be a team-player, quick, have a positive and friendly personality, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Figueroa Street, Highland Park, CA 90042 BETWEEN 4pm-5pm Tuesday- Friday. 1) JANITOR / KENNEL CLEANER- For general cleaning, keeping the pet's cages clean, and keeping the hospital always tidy. Job descriptions include: * Able to work full-time Tuesday-Saturday * Clean cages * Feed and gently handle the animals * Lift and hold the animals * Assist team with various manual tasks * General cleaning (mopping, dusting, etc) * HIRING NOW at $15.50 per hour. 2) We are also looking for an ANIMAL CARE/ VET ASSISTANT to join our fun, energetic, and friendly staff. Again, experience is NOT NECESSARY but you need to be compassionate and gentle with pets, be able to lift large dogs, have good people skills, quick, have a positive and friendly personality, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. * Able to work full-time Tuesday-Saturday * Clean cages and general cleaning * Feed and gently handle the animals * Lift and hold the animals * Assist team with various manual tasks * Prepare vaccines * Assist in surgery and taking X-rays * Speak with clients * HIRING NOW at $16.00 per hour 3). We are a very popular animal hospital that is looking for two RECEPTIONISTS that can work full time Tuesday thru Saturday. Job requirements: -Needs to be able to speak BOTH English and Spanish -Greet and cash out clients. -Be able to input info and type on a computer -Must have patience and good people skills -File and pull records from file cabinets -Must be able to work in a BUSY and fast pace office setting. -If you are FRIENDLY, love pets, and have a great personality, this is the job for you!!
