California Highway Adoption Company is looking for reliable, hard-working employees, to work along major freeways in LA County, picking up and bagging litter with trash pickers. No experience needed. We will train. Employment is through June 2021 with the possibility of continued full-time employment thereafter. Must be willing to work outside in the hot sun, walk for long stretches along the highway and be able to carry heavy trash bags. All applicants must have a valid social security number, and crew leader applicants must have a reasonably clean, valid driver's license. Crew meets early in the morning and drives in a company provided vehicle to a number of different job sites each day to pick up litter from the sides of the freeway. Starting pay ranges from $18 to $20 an hour depending on responsibilities with a raise after 30 days.
