Outhouse Designs is seeking an Experienced Embroidery Machine Operator. The primary responsibility is to ensure that orders are embellished accurately, on time and in accordance with our quality standards. This is a full-time position. Pay rate depending on level of experience. Responsibilities: * Operation of embroidery equipment. * Produce orders by following established standard operating procedures. * Communicate delays or problems that might keep a specific order from being completed. * Ensure quality standards are maintained during production. * Confirm orders are accurate for quantities, placement locations and garment types. * Maintain daily production records. * Follow preventative maintenance procedures. Requirements: * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Experience working on any type of embroidery machine * Ability to multitask, able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative * Have a great eye for detail and quality * Able to work individually as well as part of a team, the willingness to contribute to a team atmosphere with a professional and cheerful demeanor * Ability to make sound and reasonable decisions * Safety awareness and coherence to safety policy * The ability to keep up with fast paced production * The ability to troubleshoot basic problems * Prepping inventory and placing backing and/or topping as needed * Demonstrates proper use and placement of products in embroidery hoops to hold fabric taut * Selects correct product, product size, thread color, and monogram/embroidery file for production * Embroider name, initials, or emblems on material or garments based on order specs * Replacing thread and bobbins as needed * Detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies supervisor immediately * The ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment * Trimming and product bagging Job Type: Full-time
