Due to personal issues we are unable to keep our kitty long term and need to find a new home for her. We adopted her from Austin Pets Alive! six months ago. If interested please reply to this post (serious inquires only). If after further communications we determine it's a good fit, then the potential adopter will need to submit an application with APA!, and once approved APA! will authorize a transfer of ownership with updated microchip information. We want her to go to a home where she will be much loved and well taken care of.
Olivia is about 1.5 years old, weighs about 10.5 lbs, and is good living with kids, other cats, and dogs that are calm and gentle (with the proper introductions of course). She is social, always wanting to hang out where others are in the house. She's sweet and affectionate, gives head buds and kisses and likes cuddles (but she doesn't like her belly touched and will let you know if she's not in the mood for pets). She doesn't mind being picked up and held like a baby. She's curious but also cautious and doesn't get into things. She's usually very quiet and sometimes makes the tiniest/cutest little sounds when playing. She is low-medium energy, usually likes to look out the window or observe what others are doing while perched on the cat tree, but she does zoomies often after eating and likes to play with toys on strings and laser pointers. She's great with the litter box. She will make a fantastic companion in a variety of households. The only thing that the new owner needs to be mindful is about food. She will overeat and end up throwing up and gaining weight. If there are other pets in the household and food is left out for grazers, she'll keep eating throughout the day until its all gone. Later she'll throw up and come back for more. We've learned to be careful about not overfeeding her. She's up-to-date on shots.
