Property maintenance/management for Vacation Rental

Property maintenance and management for a private vacation rental in rural Ventura County. Maintaining 8 acre grounds including plumbing, gardening, irrigation, pool, etc. General maintenance skills are required. Must be able to troubleshoot issues that may arise in home and on grounds and job entails doing whatever is needed on the land and home. 20-30 hours per week / salary based on experience / average $25/hour. Generally job is Thursday through Monday but schedule is based on vacation rental bookings and may be during the week. Must work weekends and be on call over weekends for guests needs- on call provides a flat rate- hourly rate starts when guests call. Must be someone who can do maintenance and also interface and be professional with guests. Job is 75%land management and 25% guest interface. Job is seasonal and can allow for winter travel but hours do drop during winter and can be full time over summer. Ideally person can flow with this schedule, and land management is still needed during low season months. No smoking or drug use. This is a long term position, 3 strong references are required. Gardening and permaculture skills are a plus. Grounds are 100% organic. Job requires a car and living locally.
