Job opportunities are available at a growing Lawn Care and Snow Removal company that's been in business for 14+ years. We are seeking a full time, salaried, Chemical Technician who possesses spraying and lawn fertilizing experience. Current Applicator License A and E preferred, however we will train right person that is willing to become certified by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Mix and apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizer, fungicides or insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors or chemical application on lawns, trees or shrubs according to specifications and then complete appropriate paperwork for site. Previous applicator experience using a ride-on spreader/sprayer preferred, experience in lawn care and landscape helpful. Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively, and perform physical labor for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions. You must be able to safely operate equipment and provide preventative maintenance to keep equipment in working order. The candidate must be willing to help in other aspects of the company when times are slow; lawn crews, fall cleanups, snow removal in the winter. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, is self-motivated and will work hard with limited supervision. The candidate must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
