Vermont’s premier sitework and concrete contractor, S.D. Ireland is looking for experienced and enthusiastic people to join our team! We have immediate openings for Commercial and Residential Form Workers/Concrete Laborers. This position is responsible for building forms, pouring concrete, placing concrete using trowels or other tools. Typically we utilize various form systems including Symons panels, residential and geny form panels flown by crane. Responsibilities: • Building and setting up forms. • Pouring concrete. • Using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete. • Place and finish concrete sidewalk and floor slabs. • Crane rigging training Qualifications: • Experience on a construction crew preferred but not required • Willingness to learn construction skills on-site • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. • Workers must be punctual and reliable. • Be a good team member. • Work in safe manner at all times including wearing proper PPE per job specific safety plans.
