Spring is coming, and with it, beehives that are overcrowded will begin to evacuate the hive and swarm. If you have discovered such a swarm on your property, and would like it removed, please contact me and I will promptly re-home it. Don't be concerned, or try to harm the swarm, when bees swarm, they engorge themselves with honey for the flight, so much so that they can't really get their stinger into position. Hilarious really, but if they don't find a new home soon, many swarms do not make it, so by contacting a beekeeper to handle the situation, you can do your part to make sure that we still have these very important pollinators for many generations to come.
