SBS is in need of an Electrical Helper with at least 1 year of experience, who is fast-paced, flexible, and always on time. If this sounds like you, please keep reading. ***Before applying, please be aware that this job requires weekly out of town travel and the ability to work night shift. You won't have to drive your personal vehicle out of town, however, a valid driver's license is a MUST! You also must pass a drug test to be considered for this position. We are Commercial Electricians specializing in grocery store and retail remodels. Job duties will involve assisting foremen with whatever they need to move their job along, which can include (but is not limited to) running conduit, pulling wire, terminating wire, installing equipment, grabbing parts out of the trailer, maintaining a clean workspace, etc. If your desire is to learn and grow in the Electrical and EMS field, this would be the perfect job for you. Job Qualifications: - 1 year of experience on Commercial Electrical jobs (if you have done a grocery store, that is a huge plus). - Proven electrical skills: knowledge of tools & common parts, basic understanding of electricity, reading blueprints, running conduit, pulling wire, terminating, etc. (Any Energy Management knowledge would be a huge plus but not required). - Able to work Out of Town (typically 4 weeknights in a row. All travel, hotel, and food expenses paid for by the company). - Able to work 3rd shift (aka night shift). - Able to work long hours each day. - Valid Driver's License. - Able to pass a drug test. - Reliable transportation to and from our shop in Benson, NC. - Have many of your own tools needed for electrical (the more variety, the better). - Have a "determined to get the job done" attitude. - Flexibility to work weekends if needed. - Always on time and ready to go. - Desire and drive to learn and grow in this field.
