Pond and Aquarium Maintenance Company has an entry level opening for an Aquatic Service Technician. This job is a trainee position for maintenance duties on ponds and aquariums. Our clients are primarily in the SFV and adjoining areas (WestLA,BevHills,ThousandOaks,etc) and you will need to commute to Van Nuys area. This job involves a fair amount of driving, and physical labor. Hours are mostly Monday-Friday 8-5, with some Saturdays. 32-40 hrs per week. Training period is usually T-F, some Saturdays. Looking for someone who is dependable, hard working and eager to learn; would consider a long-term, part-time candidate. If you use your own vehicle, we provide an allowance. Candidates should have: - Clean Driving Record - Be able to pass a background check - HS Diploma / GED - Be able to work unsupervised - Organized, punctual - Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, and 100 lbs occasionally - Basic understanding of Biology, aptitude to learn fish health - Hobbyist level Aquarium or fish pond experience - Basic computer skills Please email resume or recent work history.
