The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all the inventory, order picking, order packing, order checking, shipping/receiving, stocking and maintenance/organization functions in the warehouse as directed by Management. The Warehouse Associate must be detail oriented and will need to be able to work in a Team/Group environment, as well as independently without constant supervision. Job Duties: Responsible for accurate weekly physical inventory counts. Maintain precise inventory of all product lines on a daily basis through proper order receiving and editing, accurate order pulling and checking, and thorough stocking and organization. Process return shipments according to company and vendor policies and procedures. Load and unload shipments from all delivery vehicles and common carriers. Process freight and ground shipments accurately. Verify accuracy of warehouse deliveries. Sort, stack, and rotate inventory weekly (FIFO). Accurately pull and fill customer orders. Accurately check pulled orders. Assist customers face-to-face, or via telephone when needed. Professionally and politely assist customers as needed. Create and update documents using Microsoft Office products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility. Assist showroom team with order pulling and showroom stocking. Assist showroom team with coverage when needed. Assist other departments within the company as needed. Any other duties and projects as assigned by Management. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate understanding of safety issues. Highly focused and proactive to handle simultaneous deadlines. Demonstrate strong analytical skills. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Professional email etiquette is expected. Must be self-motivated. Ability to be detailed, accurate, and thorough while working in a fast paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Valid Driver License. Must be willing to perform errands by operating company vehicle if needed. Ability to follow instructions and directions thoroughly. Must abide by all company and department policies and procedures. Must be willing to work any required overtime if needed. Must be flexible to work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or later as needed. Must be flexible to work any of three available shifts (8:00-5:00, 9:00-6:00, 10:00-7:00) Must be flexible to work occasional weekends if needed. Punctual attendance and excellent time management skills are required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience operating a forklift is desired; must be able to pass forklift certification and operate forklift in warehouse locations utilizing a forklift. Minimum of one year experience supporting inventory or warehouse operations. Employment Conditions: DOW Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds using a pallet jack or pallet stacker. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Ability to be on your feet for and moving for up 8-10 hours a day as workload permits. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
