It doesn't really matter what you play. I don't care if you own expensive equipment or not. And experience is cool but not necessary. I want to meet people with ideas. Ideas about music and art and how to present it to the world. I want to meet someone with passion for life and energy to execute our ambitions. You can be a filmmaker or a stylist or a guitar player - it doesn't matter. I liked that last 100 gecs record, I like KKB, Royal Trux had great style, Deee-lite had great style, Hercules and Love Affair are underrated, and the whole Hyper Pop thing is exciting in general.
