Compact cargo vans like Promaster City, Mercedes Metris, Transit Connect, Nissan NV200 are acceptable but will be limited. *** SEEKING DRIVERS IN MEMPHIS TENNESSEE *** I need people with reliable vehicles that can run hot shots. There are no regular schedules or routes and the jobs are completely random so you must be ready to run at any time. I have 90 minutes or less to get a driver to the pick up. These jobs are now or never type of thing so you always have to be available. Hot Shots pay per loaded mile. Living on the west side is highly preferred. You must be open to getting calls at 2am. I do not control when these hot shots come in but when they do I have to find a driver. Most of these runs tend to be in the middle of the night and on weekends. If you are not willing to be called out of bed at 1am then this is not ideal for you. Sometimes these runs are small cartons and sometimes they are pallets up to 500 pounds. Business is expanding into full size cargo vans. This business is also very up and down so I need financially stable people. People that will hustle when the times are good and be able to ride out the times that are slower. Retired people and people with other side hustles are the perfect candidates. The hot shots have been all over the midwest and some east coast like the Carolinas. Runs can be as short as 100 miles or as long as 800 miles. The longest run to date was 1283 miles to New Mexico. You must be willing and able to sleep comfortably in your vehicle to save on Motel expenses. Business has grown exponentially in the last 18 months. You also must be able to print paperwork that I would have to email to you. Digital payments via Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App is ideal because I instant pay once the deliveries are complete.
