ISO Queensland or similar sized dog

Girlfriend and I are in search of a Queensland heeled or similar sized dog. Puppy or a bit older. A bit about us: Live in San Luis Obispo and both work in healthcare (physician assistant and nurse). Only work 3 days a week and have plenty of free time to spend with a dog. We enjoy hiking, mountain hiking, and surfing. Would like a dog that can join in on activities, but also ok with one that is a bit more on the mellow side. Pretty open. We will be moving into our new dog friendly apartment (with a nice front yard) the end of April, so this is the soonest we can adopt a dog. Happy to drive a bit to meet up. Thanks for looking.
