I spend 24/7 for 6 to 8 weeks hand feeding, hand taming and I teach them to step up. So my birds are friendly. You can hold and even pet them. Walk around the house with them perched on your shoulder. I did all the hard work for you. If you can manage to find a hand fed budgie they sell for 80. To over 100. Due to the work involved. I hand fed 2 clutches as a favor to my community during this tough time dealing with the epidemic. They make great therapy pets for those stuck at home wanting a companion. Or someone dealing with depression. Or someone that just loves birds. They are very social and love attention. Some even learn to talk. I’m not asking for much $ for my time. Like I said, just trying to help out my community. But formula is expensive and I start hand feeding at 2wks old. So I’m adopting them out for only 50. Ea. To cover expenses.
