Description
Hi there! Sadly, we are needing to re-home our sweet boy. I am a disabled vet and nurse, and no longer have the time to spend with our jerzey. We adopted him as an ESA (emotional support animal) for myself, but he is too cute and not as cuddly as a cat or dog would be- he is a sweety, tho! Without having the time to spend with him, we adopted a spayed female to hopefully bond with him so as to not be lonely. Unfortunately, the female came from a hoarding situation and doesn't take to humans or jerzey AT ALL :( She had behavioral issues and the Humane Society has her again & will find her a better match ❤ Jerzey tho, has been with us for almost a month now, as we adopted him from a family versus a rescue. He is supposedly a purebred Dalmatian puppy (but they never gave me pedigree papers), and turned 1 in the beginning of jan. He is litter box trained, eats & drinks out of stand alone bowls, loves to free roam and LOVES his fresh greens and veggies! He is NOT a destructive chewing-everything Dalmatian, and has never nipped at any of us either. He will let you hold & cuddle him but does have a time limit. He would get better at it with more time spent with him. He is neutered (I do have the paperwork for that), and lives in an enclosure built from C & C grids, which is super easy to make. We will include his cage we initially bought for him; it is a big cage and you could leave it open for him to go in & out of if that fits your situation better. To mention, he has been not doing perfect with his litter box ever since the female came here, but he just wanted his buddy. He drops some droppings here and there, but I know he will revert back to almost none at all. 🐰jerzey will come with a huge cage (NO wire bottom), Oxbox young rabbit pellets(alfalfa), a bag of Oxbow hay(Timothy & Orchard grass mix), a set of lifted/stand-alone food(pellets) & water dishes (seen in his enclosure pic), a litter box (seen in cage pic), chew toys, toys, a bag of pine pellets (used in his litter box under fresh hay), a brush, a ceramic dish for fresh food, a couple brand new kitchen mat/rugs, and Ikea tubing used to go around cords (brand new). 🐇Please know about rabbits, and have time for him, and please allow him some space and time to free roam- even a small area is OK outside of cage. Outside time (monitored for his safety), is ideal as well, but I know not everyone can offer that. We are asking for a $100 re-homing fee. The cage itself was $85 as well as his neuter another $85; we just really want him to find a good home.
